Joy To The World

There is always a palpable energetic shift during the days leading to Christmas and people either get swept up in the excitement of the occasion or do as much as they can to avoid what can feel like mass hysteria. 

The need to have a good time is so deeply impressed upon society and it highlights the areas in our lives where that seems impossible. Not everyone has a peaceful family unit to return to and others are not in a financial position to participate in the extreme consumerism that is accepted and expected at this time of year. 

If anything can be learned from the way that Christmas is celebrated it is that when the collective decides on goodwill to all men it can be achieved and yet we wait for only a couple of days every year to do so. 

The power is and has always been with us.  
We choose.  

It could be Christmas everyday!
